- Content you submit: reviews, scam reports, evidence files, and business documents.
- Usage data: pages viewed, searches, device and browser information, and IP address (stored in hashed form for reports and reviews).
- Business verification data: registration numbers, certificates, and identity documents you provide for verification.
3. How we use your data
- To operate the Platform, calculate Trust Scores, and display reviews and reports.
- To verify businesses and prevent fraud, abuse, and manipulation.
- To secure your account, including two-factor authentication.
- To communicate with you about your account, reports, and important updates.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent, the performance of our service to you, our legitimate interest in preventing fraud, and compliance with legal obligations under Nigerian law.
5. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Service providers who host and operate the Platform, under confidentiality obligations.
- Law enforcement or regulators (such as the EFCC or FCCPC) where required by law or to prevent harm.

6. Anonymous reports
When you choose to report anonymously, your name is not shown publicly. We may still retain identifying information internally for moderation, appeals, and legal compliance.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Moderated reports may be retained for audit and legal purposes.

We use encryption, hashed passwords, optional two-factor authentication, and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

11. Children
The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
